A movie about field hockey, mental health, and sisterhood
Filming, summer of 2025
Beyond the field lies our true opponent
SYNOPSIS/Story
In the intense world of high school field hockey, Reese, a resilient and determined athlete, strives to uphold her family's legacy despite a nagging injury. The pressure she is under is relentless, from her demanding mom and her struggling team to her degrading coach. Reese navigates the challenges until Cait, a talented newcomer with a mysterious background and an overbearing father, disrupts the delicate balance.
Afraid of losing her standing, Reese becomes consumed with unearthing Cait's secrets from her past school, intending to use them as leverage. When Reese's calculated moves backfire and the team sides with Cait, Reese turns to her cousin Mary’s inspirational playbook written a few years earlier at the same school. Now, facing betrayal and scrutiny, Reese must confront whether she is truly strong enough to withstand the mounting pressure or if this unexpected turn of events will be the breaking point in her carefully curated world.
